The SB363 Sidelifter – Steelbro’s latest innovation – is specially engineered to have low tare weight, and offers customers the fastest lift and transfer times with quick deployment and stowing ofstabilisers.
For operators who need to shift 45’ containers, we’ve created the SB363 Extendable Sidelifter.
This self-loading trailer features a hydraulically extendable chassis which can expand to fit a 45’ container. Made of the same robust components as our other SB363 Sidelifters, the SB363 Extendable gives operators added flexibility for situations where extra long loads are required.
The SB450 Trombone Sidelifter has been designed to give operators maximum flexibility.
It features an adjustable trailer chassis which can be either extended or retracted in order to handle shorter or longer containers (where regulations allow).
This innovative “trombone” function makes it easier and safer for drivers to navigate difficult areas when carrying a single 20’ container – yet it can expand to carry larger containers or 2 x 20’ containers when required.
The SB450 – 20’ Compact Sidelifter is ideal for tight situations or difficult to negotiate areas.
Its shortened chassis length makes delivery to small yards easy. Built to accommodate just one 20′ container, the SB450 20′ Compact Sidelifter offers superb manoeuvrability making it our recommended choice for situations where access is challenging and the 20′ container is dominant.

The SB450 Standard sidelifter is an industry benchmark for modern safety and efficiency performance in container handling, but has been designed for ease of use and easy maintenance.

The Double Bridge Leg is an optional stabiliser for the SB363 and SB362 sidelifter model. It provides fast stable operation.
This configuration offers a combination of a Bridge Leg and Tilt and Extend stabiliser for the SB363 and SB362 sidelifter model.
By choosing a mix of stabilisers you can get the best of both worlds, extra stability without losing the flexibility to transfer single 20’ containers from a companion trailer that is carrying two closely-spaced 20’ containers.
